[ARCHIVED] Recycling Cart FAQs

Recycling Cart

Many Royal Oak single-family households have already received their new 65-gallon cart for recycling collection.

Here are what people are asking about the carts, according to SOCRRA.

What if I don't want the cart?
We're encouraging people to try the cart for three months. If you still don't want it after three months, call 248‐288‐5150 and a SOCRRA employee will pick it up.

What if I want a different size?
Different sizes are not currently available but may be in the future.

What do I do with my old bin?
You can keep it and reuse it. If you don't want it, you can return it to SOCRRA at 995 Coolidge Hwy to be recycled.

What can be put in the cart?
Information should have come with it. Check inside your cart. You can also find the information online at soccrarecycling.org

Where's my cart?
Your area may not have been delivered yet. Check socrrarecycling.org for delivery
status.

Still have more questions? Email carts@socrra.org or call 248‐288‐5150.
