The holidays bring generosity and goodwill to communities around the globe as we stop, pause, gather with loved ones, and remember fondly those who are not with us during this special time every year.   Consider making a gift in honor of someone special this holiday season.

What we've done:

Fight Local Hunger Crowd-funding Campaign-Spring 2021

The Royal Oak Civic Foundation partnered with three local food pantry charities to raise money for food insecurity in our community.  The foundation committed match funding of up to $2,500 for each of the charities.  The campaign realized more than $20,000 to fight hunger in our community.!!

Thank You Royal Oak

What we're doing:

Shop with a Hero event - Dec. 7, 2021

The Royal Oak Civic Foundation (ROCF) and Meijer are teaming-up to provide more than 50 local families access to the Shop with a Hero event. Meijer, which has sponsored it for the past 20 years, will contribute $100 per family.  The ROCF will match Meijer's funds up to $6,000 doubling the money for each family.

How you can help:

Over the next year we hope to support community tree planting to increase the city's canopy for multiple sustainability benefits and to offer small grants to the ROCF supported city groups so they can thrive, not just survive.
