Ezra Parker Chapter NSDAR: Promotes patriotism, education, and historical preservation; membership is open to direct descendants of patriots from the American Revolution.

Friends of the Royal Oak Library: This group supports the Royal Oak Public Library by sponsoring and assisting in raising funds for programs and materials and encourages gifts, memorials, and endowments to the library.

Hour Exchange TimeBank: This community exchange system allows people to exchange services with each other to support their community.

Lions Club:  Provides financial aid and assistance for sight-related and hearing-related needs. It provides scholarships for post-secondary education to students who have graduated from a high school in the city of Royal Oak.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI):  Raising awareness of mental illness through education, referrals, research, support, and advocacy.

Oakland Family Services:  Oakland Family Services is a private, nonprofit human service organization serving the area since 1921. They offer a continuum of prevention, education, and treatment services that span the human life cycle, enrich the lives of children, strengthen families, and rebuild lives.

Optimist Club:  A community service organization that helps youth in the area through various activities, including the bicycle helmet program, oratorical contest, and community service programs.

Rotary Club of Royal Oak: Royal Oak Rotary provides service to others, promotes integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Their yearly fundraiser provides scholarships to local high school students. They have a continued partnership with Blessings In A Backpack and Forgotten Harvest.

Royal Oak Garden Club: Promotes gardening knowledge and enjoyment and does gardening service projects in our community.

Royal Oak Historical Society:  Displays historical exhibits & Royal Oak history at the Royal Oak Historical Museum. They are dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the history of the Royal Oak community. Their mission is to collect, preserve, interpret, exhibit, and teach the heritage of Royal Oak through the care and management of their collections.

Royal Oak Musicale: Promotes good music in the community; gives financial awards to graduating high school seniors planning a college major in music.

Royal Oak Schools: The purpose is to provide public education services for pre-K to 12th grade students, including adult education.

Royal Oak Schools Foundation:  Provides funding for educational programs to Royal Oak Schools students and staff.

Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra:  Is a non-profit community orchestra in Metro Detroit providing concerts featuring classical masterpieces and modern music performed by over 60 volunteer musicians.

Royal Oak Woman’s Club:   Is a social and service club dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

Royal Oak Youth Assistance: Strengthens youth and families by reducing the incidence of delinquency, abuse, and neglect through community involvement.

Salvation Army Royal Oak: The Salvation Army Royal Oak Citadel provides assistance programs for Royal Oak residents, such as food assistance, homeless services, Christmas assistance, postal food drive, Pathway of Hope, and financial assistance.

South Oakland Citizens for the Homeless: Operated by South Oakland Citizens for the Homeless (501c3), Welcome Inn Day Center has been in operation since 2003 and is the only 'low-barrier' wintertime day-center in South Oakland County.

South Oakland YMCA: The Y is an inclusive organization joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility.
