Royal Oak Inter-Club Council

The Royal Oak Inter-Club Council is a community coalition of volunteer and professional service groups, whose autonomy and diversity are recognized.  The purpose of this organization is to provide regular communication among members through a forum for the exchange of ideas and information.

The Gentlemen Songsters Sing the Songs of the Season  


Hour Exchange TimeBank of Southeast Michigan will host a Game Day on January 1st.  Come enjoy the company of others playing board games at a TimeBank member’s home.  Contact Tom Maclaney at to RSVP and get directions.  The event usually goes from 12 pm to 10 pm and is a drop in event.

NAMI Metro LEAP Training from January 10-12- Help someone with mental illness accept treatment!

Royal Oak Middle School Family Workshop Series.   January 17th & March 21st.  Setting expectations for your emerging teenager. Motivating you child to be responsible and engaged.

Royal Oak Neighborhood Schools and Berkley School District will be co sponsoring an annual event, the MLK Day of Service at Royal Oak High School from 7:30 am to 10 am on January 21st.  Teen Clean Closet will be there raising community awareness and taking donations.

Royal Oak Optimist Club’s Bowlabration will be held on January 27th

Royal Oak Nature Society 14th Annual Fundraiser will be held on April 26th at the Royal Oak Elks Club from 7 to 10 pm.

Gilda’s Big Night Out on Thursday, May 9th at Max M and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center (3711 Woodward Ave., Detroit)    Join us for an amazing evening of laughter and entertainment while supporting the mission of Gilda’s Club. The evening will begin with a strolling dinner, cocktails, silent auction, followed by an awards ceremony, live entertainment and a comedian to finish the night.


Gilda’s Family Walk & 5K Run on Saturday, September 21st at the Royal Oak High School (1500 Lexington Blvd, Royal Oak)    Join us for our Annual Gilda’s Family Walk & Run –The event features a beautiful walk & 5K run through Royal Oak that will have a special stop along the way – Gilda’s Club!


Bras for a Cause on Saturday, October 19th at the Royal Oak Music Theatre (318 W 4th St., Royal Oak).   Join Gilda's Club as they celebrate Bras for a Cause!  Cancer survivors, art bras and big fun are all showcased at the annual event. This event features live and silent auctions, food from some of the finest local restaurants, live music and an inspiring breast cancer survivor runway show.
