Residents Mini-Academy

Royal Oak will be hosting mini-academies for the a variety of issues a few times a year.  Each mini-academy will allow participants to learn more about an issue with information from staff, and discuss the challenges within the community and come up with potential solutions.

Love Where You Live!

The first mini-academy will focus on neighborhood relations and challenges that sometimes come up between neighbors. Participants will hear from staff with code enforcement, the police and animal control to learn about the ordinances, challenges and the role of the city. Residents will be able to share a little bit about the challenges they see in their neighborhood, and together the group will brainstorm potential solutions and resources that the city could provide.

The mini-academy will be on March 3rd and 10th from 6pm to 7:30pm.  If you are interested in participating please complete registration form and staff will reach out to you online.  At this time we are planning to meet in person.
