Libby

Libby (Borrow Limit: 6)

The Royal Oak Public Library has successfully transferred from the MCLS Consortium to TLN’s Download Destination (DD). What do you need to know?

  1. We recommend taking a screenshot or writing down your holds in case they get lost in the transition.
  2. You will need to remove your card from MCLS and any library consortium where you are registered.
  3. You will need to re-add your card to Download Destination first, then any others you use.
  4. Your checkouts will reappear once you log in to the consortium where you checked them out, as will your holds.

You may lose your place in line for your holds if they were only owned by MCLS. Our staff will review patron holds and purchase some items in the new system to help you get your holds faster.

Borrow ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines to read on your phone or tablet using the Libby app. You can even send and read your borrowed ebooks to your Kindle ereader! It’s free and easy to get started for new users. We are also partnered with eleven other digital collections on Libby, giving you hundreds more items when you add those libraries!
