Freading is a downloadable eBook service for registered library cardholders. It offers eBooks in a variety of genres. You can download the Freading app (Android or Apple) to your compatible mobile device or view, download and read your book on a computer. You'll need your library card and PIN to get started.

Freading uses Adobe Digital Editions software on a computer or mobile device to view downloaded books.  It can be downloaded and installed HERE. You will also need an Adobe ID. If you need extra help please consult Freading's FAQ HERE.

On September 21, Freading will be transitioning to a Single Sign-On method, which is currently used by many trusted vendors. New users will be able to establish an account with an email address and password. When they use the website or mobile app for the first time, they will be asked for their library card number and PIN. Once that information has been entered, you will be able to enjoy Freading books seamlessly without having to sign-up separately with Adobe. Existing Freading users will be asked to create a Freading account with an email and password one time, and then they can proceed as before.
