New Composting Guide and Revision to OrdinanceOn Monday, the commission approved an amended version of the composting ordinance, making it easier for residents to compost in their backyards. They also approved a comprehensive composting guide that teaches the basics of composting. The guide offers recommendations on styles of composting bins, materials to include, and has a whole page dedicated to pet mitigation. We hope this will be a helpful resource for anyone wanting to compost at home or for anyone who has tried composting in the past and stopped.
