Memorial Day Weather Forecast Update

The weather forecast for Monday currently indicates the possibility of rain and thunderstorms. The parade will proceed as scheduled in the event of light rain. However, for everyone's safety, we may cancel the parade if there is a forecast for heavy rain or thunderstorms on Monday.

The Veterans Events Committee is working with a local meteorologist and will post its decision regarding the parade to romi.gov/vets Sunday, May 26 at 6 p.m.

A Memorial Day Ceremony will be held rain or shine. (If necessary, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the Royal Oak Farmers Market.)

Thank you for understanding. We look forward to a safe and respectful event.

Field of Honor

The Field of Honor at Centennial Commons will be on display through Sunday, June 2. Please stop by to learn more about the 189 individuals from Royal Oak who gave their lives in service to our country.

Closing Ceremony

Join us Sunday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at Centennial Commons as we read aloud the names of 189 Royal Oak heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. This somber tradition ensures their memories aren't lost.
