I-75 Freeway & Bridge Work


The contractors for the I-75 project will begin work on the southbound service drive between Gardenia and 11 Mile this week. They will be installing new water main and replacing the road pavement. Affected residents were given notices regarding this work.

12 Mile Road is closed at I-75 for reconstruction of the bridge, ramps and intersection.


Questions or concerns regarding the bridge and freeway work should be sent to Oakland Corridor Partners who are overseeing Segment 3 of the construction for MDOT.

CAP2109 S Main Street and E Lincoln Avenue Resurfacing

Contractor: AJAX Paving Industries, Inc.


S. Main Street - Lincoln to 11 Mile
E. Lincoln Avenue - Knowles to Campbell


On Lincoln Avenue, the contractor has some remaining signage to finish installing and is working on finishing the remaining landscape restoration.

CAP2215 Asphalt Resurfacing

Contractor: Hutch Paving, Inc.


LANDSCAPE/LAWN RESTORATION: Lawn restoration is being reviewed for all project streets for any lawn areas that have died or any areas that were not restored to the city's specifications.

Most of the project streets are complete with the exception of lawn restoration.

Amelia - The contractor is continuing restoration work this week. Inspectors are requiring some areas that were seeded to be re-done. The intersection at Blair is tentatively scheduled for final paving next week.

Connecticut - The contractor has tentatively scheduled the final paving of asphalt for next week, Tuesday/Wednesday. Restoration work continues this week.

Temporary 'No Parking' signs will be placed where room for construction equipment is needed.

CAP2110 Northwood Viaduct Pavement Replacement

Contractor: FDM Contracting, Inc.


The contractor has completed the work and Northwood has been reopened to traffic.

CAP2205 Concrete Street Repairs

Contractor: Audia Concrete Construction, Inc.


Each street will have repairs done in halves, to maintain access for residents throughout construction. Temporary 'No Parking' signs will be placed where room for equipment is needed.

The contractor is working between Webster and 13 Mile Road this week.

Consumers Energy Neighborhood Grid Projects
