Pontiac, Michigan – Oakland County Health Division has issued an order to reduce occupancy load by 50 percent at county establishments with a food service license, excluding healthcare facilities, long-term care, and grocery stores.
The order also limits occupancy load of entertainment venues and physical fitness centers to 50 percent. State law provides the county health officer with the authority to issue orders to protect the public health under Section 2453 of the Public Health Code (MCL 333.2453).
