My grandfather, Dan Truesdell, started the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Royal Oak and served as president of both the VFW and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). My grandmother, Margaret Truesdell was the president of the Royal Oak DAV.
We have many generations of Truesdell grads from Dondero.
