Help Agencies
Teens, need to talk to someone? Common Ground and Royal Oak Youth Assistance are local agencies that provide lifelines for teens: confidential 24-hour crisis services, free confidential counseling, help for runaway and homeless youth, and help with substance abuse. If you are worried about a friend or loved one thinking of suicide, or thinking about suicide yourself, and would like emotional support, the Lifeline network is available 24/7 across the United States. Call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255.

Programming Calendar
The Royal Oak Public Library has a variety of programming for all ages, and a library card is not required to attend! We welcome and encourage anyone from anywhere to attend whatever programs they find interesting. Some programs do recommend or require registration through our program calendar and will say so in the program description.
