Social District

What is the Social District?

The Royal Oak Social District allows participating businesses to sell alcoholic beverages to go! These beverages can be consumed in the common areas of the Social District indicated on the map below!

When can I use the Social District?

From 11 AM to 10 PM seven days a week you may enjoy your to-go beverages from your favorite participating business!

The Social District is in operation during special events such as Arts, Beats, and Eats or Taco Fest, BUT you may not enter these events with social district beverages.

Social District Rules

  • Enter any participating establishment. (Look for the sign shown below).
  • Order an adult beverage of your choice to-go. It will be provided in a social district cup.
  •  Only alcohol purchased from participating establishments in the approved drinking cups may be consumed in the social district.
  • Enjoy your drink responsibly within the social district. Boundaries are clearly marked.
  • Dispose of your cup properly in a trash receptacle in Downtown. We understand you’ve just had a drink, but that’s not an excuse to litter.
  • Your to-go drinks/cups are not permitted in another business, regardless of their participating in the Social District.
  • Cups/drinks are not permitted in the parking lots or garages.
  • Again, each cup is for one-time use. Come back soon!
