The Royal Oak Public Library offers large print books, audiobooks, downloadable books and an adaptive computer that contains magnification software, text to speech, and a large print keyboard. Librarians are available to help anyone wishing to browse these collections or use the adaptive computer.

We have over 2,000 titles, including fiction and non-fiction available for checkout. If Royal Oak does not own a title in large print, a librarian can help you get it through inter-library loan.

Audiobooks
The library offers a collection of books on CD to listen to your favorite fiction and non-fiction titles. You can also download books to your home computer using our Overdrive Service. Once the books are downloaded, you can listen to them on a portable listening device or burn them to a CD.

Adaptive Computer
We have a computer that contains magnification software, text to speech, and a large print keyboard available in our Adult Computer Lab.
