April 5th was the first day of the Major League Baseball season. The season runs through October, so don't forget to follow the Deroit Tigers. If you love baseball, there's not just the Majors to watch. The college season has already begun, the Frontier League beings in May and there's always the minor leagues.
April 22 is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. April is often referred to as Earth Month. This is a time to celebrate our wonderful planet, to promote global awareness, and to find ways to prevent global warming. Check www.earthday.org for more information and events. Library Closed for Memorial Day Holiday The Library will be closed Saturday, May 25th and Monday, May 27th due to the Memorial Day Holiday and will reopen on Tuesday, May 28th. When the Library is closed, you may return books and media at the drop boxes near the south entrance and at the curb on Eleven Mile road.
