Take a break, sit back, and enjoy live music at the Royal Oak Public Library! Join us as the Woodward Corridor Musicians present an hour of chamber music. Comprised of local musicians, the WCM was organized to present chamber music concerts to diverse communities along the Woodward Corridor, from downtown Detroit, through the connecting suburbs, to Pontiac. The group’s mission is to create a musical environment in which urban and suburban communities will enjoy coming together.
Several woodwind instruments, clarinet, oboe, flute and bassoon, along with horn, violin and guitar, will be represented in works by Gabriel Faure, Sergei Prokofiev, Jacques Ibert and Karl Pliss.
