Take a journey back into time with the music of the Silver Strings Dulcimer Society when life was much simpler and music filled the air to the delight of young and old alike. The Silver Strings group is beginning their 28th year of playing "Old Time Music", featuring the Hammered Dulcimer played with other instruments such as, guitar, banjo, fiddle, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, penny whistle, autoharp, harmonica, and bass fiddle. The group plays a variety of Traditional music and more, including Irish jigs and reels, Celtic, Waltz's, Polka's, as well as Holiday favorites. The club is based in Garden City, Michigan, and has entertained thousands of listeners all around southeast Michigan for well over two decades.
