Carolan, John Bridges age 84, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014. John was born on June 24, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to James and Marge Carolan. John was the loving and devoted husband to Ann for 63 years, they were married on September 14, 1951, and six weeks later he was drafted into the Army. He served 2 years in the army from 1951-1953 of which 18 months where in Korea. He also served in the Naval Reserve. Loving father to Connie (Duane) Hansen and Karen (Richard) Winter. Proud grandfather to Michael, Haleigh (Peter) Nelson and Christopher. Predeceased by his granddaughter, Allison. Mr. ‘C’ was the electronics teacher at Cass Technical High School from 1971 to 1975, and from 1975 until his retirement in 1996 at Mount Clemens High School. His three greatest passions were his family, teaching his students about electronics and his love and unwavering faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. with a funeral service at 7 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township.
