Steven Renaud, 30, Kayla Pemberton, 23, Kaylee Renaud, 4, and Sadie Renaud, 1, all died suddenly at their home in Hale on Tuesday early morning, Sept. 23, 2014. The young family had just moved into their new home and absolutely loved the area. Steven was a loving and active father of his girls and worked hard at detailing automobiles. Kayla adored and cherished her girls as well and gave of herself as a nurse in the home and healthcare setting. Kaylee and Sadie were beautiful little girls who loved life, dancing, music, fancy clothes, and being the center of their parent's lives. They will all be missed dearly by those who knew and loved them. Surviving are Steven's dad and paternal grandfather to the girls, Danny Renaud of East Tawas, Kayla's mother and maternal grandmother to the girls, Starla Hawley, Kayla's father and maternal grandfather to the girls, James Pemberton of Traverse City; brothers and sisters, Daniel (Jean) Renaud, Michael (Antoneta) Renaud, Dawn Renaud (Tim Seyler), Jason (Misty) Renaud, Brittany Pemberton (Jesse Proper), Cassandra Pemberton, and Nathan Pemberton; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and community neighbors. Steven's mother and paternal grandmother to the girls, Barbara Renaud preceded the family in death, as well as several aunts, uncles and great grandparents. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service for the family on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. at Hale Baptist Church with Pastor Rob Nordin officiating.
