Take a break, sit back, and enjoy live music at the Royal Oak Public Library!
Join us on Saturday, June 2 at 3:00 PM in the Friends Auditorium as Royal Oak’s very own Children’s Choir takes the stage as part of our music series. The Royal Oak Children’s Choir is a group of lively 4th through 8th graders who love to sing! They are preparing to go on their “Color My World” tour to Orlando’s Disney World and Universal Studios. Come and hear what they will be singing on tour that relates to their theme of Color!
The mission of the ROCC is to offer children in the fourth through eighth grades an opportunity to grow personally and learn holistically through the intrinsic motivation of a superior choral program. Singers are accepted through auditions held each year in May. Auditions for the 2012-2013 season take place on Thursday, May 17 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Sunday, May 20 3:00-5:00 PM. To schedule an audition, contact Julie at 313-919-0776.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear this great group of young singers.
