Lethal is the latest in a series of thrillers that have made Brown such a popular author. The Texas native has written 77 novels, including 60 New York Times bestsellers. Lethal tells the story of widow Honor Gillette who is taken hostage, along with her four-year-old daughter, by an accused murderer looking for something of value left behind by Honor’s late police officer husband. Set in Louisiana, the novel has the fast pace, plot twists and romantic tension that Brown’s fans have come to enjoy.
