The Royal Oak Public Library has been designated a Depository Library for publications of the United States Government since March 22, 1984. The Library chooses to receive about ten percent of the publications produced including books, pamphlets, magazines, maps, cd-roms and Internet sites. All depository publications are located within the general collections.
