Is there a way to increase the limit on the number of holds?
Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a way to increase the number of holds allowed (15)? Since there is no limit to the numer of books you can check-out, it would seem to make sense to allow for more than 15 holds. In addition, there are some items that I have had on hold for several months (they are not available yet) so this takes up several of the available hold slots.

  • Unfortunately the answer is no.The hold limit is determined by our computer system as is the number of items you can have checked out (100 at a time). We belong to a shared system, shared by most other libraries in The Library Network, which means that we cannot readily change these parameters.
