Writing for Real Workshops

Acclaimed writer Cindy La Ferle returns to Royal Oak Public Library to host another non-fiction writing workshop series -- "Writing for Real." La Ferle will bring her considerable writing talent and her trademark creative style to help writers sharpen their first-person writing skills.
"Whether you want to publish personal essays, newspaper columns, or your own blog, this three-week non-fiction workshop will help you polish your first-person writing skills and help you find your readership," La Ferle writes.
La Ferle is an award-winning journalist and author specializing in home and family topics. She writes a monthly column on midlife issues for Michigan Prime and is widely published in regional and national magazines.
