For centuries, newspapers have been the diary of the community, an important place to find out about significant local, regional, and national events. They are also a great place to learn details about your ancestors’ lives, from important events like marriages and deaths, to day-to-day gossip. They are not to be missed when researching your family history. Hatter will provide an overview of what’s available online, including paid databases and free sites, along with tips on how to search the databases to find the information you want.
