01:00 PM - 03:00 PM
On Thursday, November 6 at 1:00 pm in the Friends Auditorium, join author Teresa K. Irish as she shares her father’s letters from World War II which inspired her book, A Thousand Letters Home: The WW II correspondence of Aarol W. “Bud” Irish. Her father’s letters were found after his death in 2006. They make a heartfelt tribute to America’s history, freedoms, family values, and a call to citizenship in today’s world. Irish’s program is a life-affirming journey back in time which reaches across generations to inspire us.
Light refreshments will be served. Copies of Ms. Irish's book will be available for purchase and signing following the program.
