Is Climate Change Real?

Thursday, October 10
07:00 PM - 08:30 PM
Friends Auditorium

Adult

There are so many claims out there; climate change does not exist, climate change does exist. Does our life style contribute to climate change or not? Or, perhaps, climate change is real but not that bad. Some say that it is too late to act. What do you think?

Please join Royal Oak resident Mary Janet Dunn on Thursday, October 10 at 7:00 pm for a look at updated science. We will see what science can and cannot tell us about climate change and most importantly its potential impact on Michigan. Ms. Dunn feels that science around climate change is not always communicated well. You will come away with a better understanding of the science, who the scientists are, and what the opposing sides predict about climate change. You will leave with tools to make up your own mind.

Ms. Dunn is a member of SOLAR and the Sierra Club and a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps.
