These 30-minute story times for ages five and under with their adults include simple stories, rhymes, finger plays, and movement. Ticketed Drop-In (pick up tickets at the Friends Auditorium): Limit 40 children.
New Registration System for All Storytimes and Select Youth Programs
These will now be “Ticketed Drop-In” which means there is no advance registration, but on the day of the program visit the youth services information desk (or Friends Auditorium if the program is held there) and pick up a numbered ticket which will be available 30 minutes before the program begins or when the library opens in the case of 10:15 AM programs. Arrive early to secure an attendance ticket. There will be a limited number of tickets available.
With the new system, people who arrive a few minutes early should be able to secure a ticket and no previously registered spots remain unused because of no-shows. This way you don’t have to register ahead of time. We hope this will be a more convenient and flexible way of handling story time attendance.
