Take a break, sit back, and enjoy live music at the Royal Oak Public Library!

Join us on Saturday, May 19 at 3:00 PM in the Friends Auditorium as we listen to acoustic renditions of pop rock songs from the 60s through today. Acoustic duo Steelhead Red will perform songs from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, U2, Weezer, Green Day, Train, Mumford & Sons, and more.

Musicians Jon and Pat together have years of musical experience. Jon attended Berklee College of Music, Wayne State University and the Recording Institute of Detroit. He has been a member of multiple local acts, including No Resolve, 7 Million Jigawatts, and 45th Parallel. He has opened for numerous acts, including Fuel, Bret Michaels, and Theory of a Deadman. Jon has also recorded three solo albums of original material.

Pat has a music education degree from Oakland University and is the instrumental director at Arts Academy in the Woods. He was the lead singer/acoustic guitar player for Changes, an original acoustic rock band from Detroit. He was also a member of Huckleberry Groove. Pat has played with national acts including Blessed Union of Souls, Bowling for Soup, and Kevin Hearn from Barenaked Ladies. Pat also had two original songs played on WDVD, 96.3.
