Take a journey with seasoned travel writers and editors Megan Swoyer and Ron Garbinski on Monday, July 11 at 7:00 PM as they share their travel writing secrets and tips on how the images you find along the way can inspire great words. Swoyer is an editorial consultant and writer who began her career as an associate editor of AAA Michigan Living magazine. She was an editor of Crain's Detroit Monthly, wrote a Daytrip column forThe Detroit News for nine years, and covered homes and gardens and travel for Style magazine. Garbinski is the former editor-in-chief of AAA Michigan Living magazine and AAA Living magazines, with eight publications in the Midwest. For the past year he's been a consultant for Midwest resorts, travel website portals and more. He also publishes an e-blast travel newsletter called "Ron's Route."
