Rain Barrels and Rain Gardens

Wed, Apr 07
07:00 PM - 08:30 PM
Friends Auditorium

Featured Programs, Adult, Think Green Series

Michele Arquette-Palermo of the Clinton River Watershed Council will discuss how rain barrels collect rainwater from downspouts and prevent it from running onto paved areas and eventually into the sewers and our Great Lakes. Rain gardens collect water through shallow depressions in your yard which are full of native species. Find out how you can create rain barrels and rain gardens at your home. Registration preferred. Fill out the form below or call the adult reference desk at 248-246-3727.
