LaVoie, Henry Angell, age 93, (formerly of Mount Clemens, Mich.), of Melbourne, Fla., passed away on September 17, 2014 at the William Childs Hospice House following a brief illness. He is survived by his five children, Mark LaVoie, Donna LaVoie, Jill Watson (the late George W. Watson), Lynn LaVoie (Michael Herron), and Kevin LaVoie (Karen Flock); six grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and his beloved special friend, Elizabeth Frasure. He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Ruth LaVoie (Brown); and later, his wife, Eileen LaVoie (Jonas) of five years. Henry was a veteran of World War II where he served as a cartographer stationed in The Philippines. He had a successful career as a production engineer with Fisher Body, General Motors, and retired to Florida in 1993. Henry loved life, his family, his faith, and led a long life of joyfully doing for others.
