Dora Aline Grunow (nee Tabor) of North Port Florida former 62 year resident of Hazel Park lost her valiant 11 year battle with cancer on December 13 2012. Dora was born in Royal Oak on January 6 1932. Dora was an avid bowler of many years enjoyed knitting crossword and Jigsaw puzzles and playing cards with friends. Dora was the loving wife of the late Elmer for 53 years. She is survived by her children David (Carole) Grunow Kris (Oren) Gordon Melissa (Charles) Jennett; grandchildren Michael (Tabitha) Ormsby Nicole Generauex David Grunow Meghan Alyssa Jordan Crechiolo six great-grandchildren and by her two closest friends Doris and Ree. Dora was predeceased by parents Stephen and Jeanne Tabor three brothers one granddaughter and one great-grandson. Dora was very much loved and will be truly missed. A memorial for Dora will be held in the Spring. Details will follow at a later date..
