Catherine E. Hingst of Madison Heights Mich. passed away December 25 2012 in Royal Oak. She was born April 10 1924 in Warren Mich. Catherine was a 63 year resident of Madison Heights. She was a founding member of St. Mary Magdalen Church Hazel Park a member of the Madison Heights Senior Citizens and volunteered at Providence Hospital - Southfield for 25 years. She is survived by her children Ronald (Diane) Hingst of Howell Janet Golub of Waterford Richard (Celeste) Hingst of Lapeer Nancy (David) Barberi of Troy Robert Hingst of Madison Heights; sister Ann Kendall of Berkley; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred; her brother Rusell Hagen; and sisters Minnie Obert Mary Warner Cleta Van Pamel and Rita Hagen.
