Elaine Weissert Cramer
Elaine Weissert Cramer 66 passed away October 26 2012 at her home in Southfield. Elaine was born in McKeesport Pennsylvania to Frederick and Virginia (Hogue) Weissert on June 10 1946. She went to Garfield High School in Akron Ohio and graduated in 1964. She went onto earn a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Akron as well as a master's degree in Counseling from Oakland University. She was formerly employed by Jewish Vocational Services as a counselor and was a member of Church of the King in Berkley for 32 years. She loved Jesus more than anything and she enjoyed Bible study reading board games and spending time with her family and friends. Elaine is survived by her sister Rebecca Benson of Strongsville Ohio; her brother James Weissert of Akron Ohio; her daughter Deborah (Steve) Lindberg of Spring Texas; her son Stephen (Sabrina Cuadra) Cramer of Athens Georgia; and her three grandchildren Justin Kyle and Elise Lindberg. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Virginia Weissert as well as a brother-in-law David Benson and a sister-in-law Leah Weissert. A Memorial visitation will be Tuesday 2:30 p.m. until the Memorial service begins at 3:30 p.m. at Church of the King 3688 W 12 Mile Rd. Berkley with Pastor Tal Sullivan officiating.
