Mary I. Tierney (1922-2012)

Mary I. Tierney age 90 a resident of Oak Park died Wednesday October 10 2012 at her home. She was born June 23 1922 in England to William and Jane Robson. Mary was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary. Survived by children Barbara Schultz Richard (Patricia) and Robert (Rosann); 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by husband George whom she married January 20 1945. Visitation Friday 2-9 p.m. at Spaulding & Curtin Funeral Directors Ferndale and Saturday 9:30 a.m. until time of service 10 a.m. at St. Luke Episcopal Church Ferndale.
