Lucy R. (Deering) Proffitt

Lucy R. Proffitt (nee Deering) age 94 of Warren passed away on October 8 2012 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born in Henry County Tennessee August 10 1918. Beloved wife of Herbert Proffitt; loving mother of James (Linda) Deering and Judith (Steve) Overstreet. Also survived by sister Nelda (Odell) Hopkins five grandchildren six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A member of Hazel Park Church of Christ she enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation will be held Thursday 3-9 p.m. at Hopcroft Funeral Home 23919 John R Road Hazel Park.
