Rose J. DeBuck (1924-2012)
Rose J. DeBuck age 88 of Ida Mich. died Friday October 19 2012 while under the care of Mercy Memorial Hospice of Monroe. Born May 3 1924 in St. Clair Shores Mich. Rose was the daughter of John and Emily (Van Assche) Allemon. A graduate of St. Mary's School in New Baltimore she married Alfred "Fritz" DeBuck May 1 1948. He died December 28 2009. Rose and her husband were farmers for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church Ida the Christian Mothers the Fr. Solinus Guild and loved sewing quilting taking photos baking and many other crafts. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. Surviving are sons Gerald (Susan) DeBuck; Edward DeBuck Henry (Katherine) DeBuck Michael DeBuck; daughters Jo Ann (Arnold) Skowronski Theresa (David) Ballenberger Clara Efta; brothers Charles Allemon John (Leona) Allemon David (Viola) Allemon Henry (Andrea) Allemon; sisters Margaret Harris Violet Allemon Anna Marks Mary Goike Cecilia (Herbert) Marcath Grace Ann (Walter) Dacon Jean (August) Miele; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband parents two brothers and a sister. Memorial contributions for Mrs. DeBuck may be made to Our Lady of Victory Knoll South Bend Indiana or St. Joseph's Church Ida Mich. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home Ida Monday from 2-8 p.m. with a Scripture service at 7 p.m. She will lie instate at St. Joseph's Church Ida Tuesday October 23 2012 from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Resurrection at 11 a.m. Rev.
