Doris "Jane" Genrich age 85 a resident of Royal Oak formerly of Ferndale died July 2 2012 at Cambridge East Healthcare Center in Madison Heights. She was born June 29 1927 in Detroit to the late James and Wanda Chellew. Mrs. Genrich enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She always made a welcoming home. She is survived by her daughters Sandra (Alan) Danaher and Barbara (Jeffrey) Schwartz; grandchildren Andrew (Carrie) Kelly (the late Michael) Sean Melissa Jaclyn and Patricia; and great-grandchildren Gracie Owen and Ryleigh. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene J. Genrich in 1988; and siblings Donald Chellew and Laura Stevens. There will be memorial visitation Saturday 1-5 p.m. with a 4 p.m. prayer service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 705 W Eleven Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward) Royal Oak.
