Robert (Bob) Jackson Rogers age 68 of Cabot Arkansas passed away on Monday April 9 2012 after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. Bob was born on August 18 1943 in Detroit Michigan to the late A.B. and Maudie Rogers of Jonesboro Arkansas. He was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout. Bob graduated from Dondero High School in Royal Oak Michigan and from Michigan Christian College. Bob married his sweetheart Kay F. Oliver Rogers and they shared a remarkable 48 years together. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company for thirty years. Upon his retirement Mr. and Mrs. Rogers relocated to Cabot Arkansas where they remained until his passing. He was a member and deacon of the Royal Oak Church of Christ Royal Oak Michigan for 40 years and more recently a member of the Cabot Church of Christ Cabot Arkansas. Bob is survived by his beloved wife Kay of Cabot; his son Todd Rogers of San Antonio Texas and his daughter Tami (Donald) Lewis of Lebanon Tennessee. He is also survived by his four grandsons Jay and Dylan Rogers and Alan and Gage Lewis and a sister Barbara Jaress of Jonesboro Arkansas. A private family burial will be held at the Hope Cemetery in Imboden Arkansas. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Mayes Tom Simpson Dean Oliver John Clark George Davis and Bill Ashley.
