Agnes Engels passed away March 25 2012 at Autumn Woods Nursing Center where she had been a resident since October 2008. Born May 1 1913 in Midway Pa. to Gavin and Elizabeth Weir she was a resident of Hazel Park Mich since 1923. She married Albert C. Engels November 25 1937 Thanksgiving Day. He passed away April 5 1984. Agnes worked in a Detroit dress store before becoming a full-time homemaker. She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings Janet Allen Marie Hibbert Robert Weir and Elizabeth Preiss. She leaves a daughter and son-in-law Nancy and George Kramer; a grandson Eric Kramer; and a niece and her husband Lois and Joseph Wooton.
