Helen M. Gartner age 96 died January 10 2012. Mrs. Gartner was the past president of the Huntington Woods Woman's Club and an active parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Royal Oak. Beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Jack (Lou) Mike and James (Lauri); dear sister of Sylvia Livernois Betty Grunis and the late Chuck "Bud" Ott; proud grandmother of eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The visitation will be Friday 4-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 705 W Eleven Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward) Royal Oak. Mrs. Gartner will lie in state Saturday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Royal Oak. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
