Carl W. Bodner, 82, of Utica, formerly of Hazel Park, died Saturday, April 26, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy.. Mr. Bodner was a member and usher at Evanswood Church of God, Troy. He worked 20 years for Cape Industrial Co., retiring in 1987. Surviving are his wife, Margie, whom he wed Feb. 9, 1946, in Perryville, Ky.; daughters, Carle (Richard) Smith and Darlene (Ken) Wolff; granddaughters, Breanne and Kaleana (David) LeGrand; sister, Fannie Steinhauer and brother, Howard. He was predeceased by parents, Adolph and Maggie; brothers, James and Leo and sister, Lucille Walker.
