Delphine Irene (nee James) Themean, of Royal Oak, died Sunday, April 20, 2008. She was born Jan. 12, 1920, in Cornwall, England. Mrs. Themean loved quilting and will be missed by her friends at CAMEO Quilt Guild. Her family would like to thank the excellent care staff at American House, Royal Oak. She is survived by her daughter, Johnnene (David Falls) Maddison of London, Ontario; grandson, Michael (Kelly) Maddison; great-grandchild, Brae-don Maddison; and siblings, William (Gail) James and Kathleen Peterson. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Pegouske, who died in World War II; her second husband, Earl Themean; and siblings, Rene Woodman and Rose Upton. A family memorial gathering Sunday, 1-3 p.m., will be held at the Edward Korkoian Funeral Home, Spiller-Spitler Chapel, 836 N. Main, Royal Oak, (248) 541-8325. Memorial contributions may be made to Alexander Mercy Living Center.
