Francine L. Demetsenare, 67, a lifelong resident of Berkley, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born Sept. 27,1940, in Berkley. Ms. Demetsenare is survived by her father, Clinton Johnson of Southfield; siblings, Gloria (George) Grey of Farmington Hills and Sandy (Jim) Roberts of Royal Oak; children, Cheryl (Donald) Nunley of Berkley, Brian (Cindy) Burke of Berkley, Corey Burke of Berkley, Julie Burke of Berkley, Amy (Michael) Weed of Ferndale, Dennis Demetsenare of Madison Heights, Joseph Demetsenare of Berkley, Michael Demetsenare of Berkley and Darin Demetsenare of Ferndale; and grandchildren, Jennifer Nunley, Christina Burke, Brandon Nunley, Bradley Burke, Brittney Wilkey, Ryan Burke, Dylan Burke and Avery Demetsenare-Furr. She was predeceased by her mother, Maxine Johnson of Southfield; and brother, Jim Johnson. Visitation is Thursday from 3-9 p.m., and funeral service Friday at 1 p.m. will be at Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 W.12 Mile Road, Berkley. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery.
