Helen West, 86, a 63-year Hazel Park resident, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at her home. She was born March 19, 1922, in Detroit. Mrs. West will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Dianne (Calvin) Wilkinson of Royal Oak and David West of Hazel Park; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Marguerite Scussel. She was predeceased by her husband, Franklin West; and son, Thomas West. Visitation Will be Sunday from 3-9 p.m., and funeral service Monday at 11 a.m., both at Hop-croft Funeral Home, 23919 John R, Hazel Park. Burial will be at Roseland Park Cemetery.
