Albert R. Colburn, 91, died Sunday, March 23, 2008. Mr. Colburn was a World War II veteran. He belonged to the Alvin Neet VFW Chapter 5280, Lonaconing, Md., and the Berkley American Legion #374. Mr. Colburn's daughters, Marlene McBride and Linda Weir, survive him; he was predeceased by his son, Craig. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three nephews and two nieces. He was also predeceased by his wife, Margaret Beeman Colburn. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Roseland Park Cemetery, 29001 Woodward, Berkley. A celebration of his life will immediately follow at the American Legion, Berkley. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or the Michigan Humane Society. Arrangements by Resurrection Funeral Home, Clinton Township.
