Yvonne Petrosky, 84, died March 12, 2008, at Wynwood in Portage. She was born March 9, 1924, in Windsor, Ontario. Mrs. Petrosky graduated from St. Mary's Academy. She was an active member of Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak, and later of St. Monica Parish. She is survived by her children, Ruth Anne (Robert) Prentice and Maryellen (Thomas) Byrum; grandchildren Derek (Lynette) Prentice, Katie Prentice, Elizabeth Byrum, and Robert Byrum; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert, whom she married May 24,1947. Visitation Sunday, 4-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary service, will be at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile, Royal Oak. Funeral service Monday, 10 a.m., will be at National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Borgess VA Hospital.
