Frances Pryor, a 68-year resident of Royal Oak, formerly of Detroit, has died. She was born in New Market, Tenn., in 1912. Mrs. Pryor was a member of Clawson Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed crocheting and donating baby afghans to those in need. Mrs. Pryor will be remembered for putting God and family first. She delivered Meals on Wheels with her husband until age 92. Mrs. Pryor also enjoyed traveling and did so extensively, visiting all 50 states as well as Canada and Mexico. Mrs. Pryor is survived by her children, William, Mary Lou and Cathy (Allen); grandchildren, Katie Collins, Matt Pryor, Timothy Pryor, Becky Allen, James Allen, Holly Tompert, Ben Pryor and Andy Pryor; nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, Clyde, Brown, Glenn, Dora, Robert and Aubrey. She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, William W. Pryor. Visitation, Thursday, 2-8 p.m., and funeral Friday, 10 a.m., will be at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main, Clawson. Burial will be at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clawson United Methodist Church Endowment Fund.
