Elfrieda Brietzke, 79, of Royal Oak died Feb. 29, 2008, at William Hospital. Royal Oak. She was born April 7, 1928, in Detroit to Herman and Olga Brietzke. Ms. Brietzke retired from Chrysler Corporation where she worked for more than 40 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Royal Oak. Ms. Brietzke enjoyed traveling and volunteering for the American Red Cross. Ms. Brietzke is survived by her siblings, Rosalie Ethel (Joseph) Royer of Clyde, N.C., Erna (Marti) Francis of Troy, Kurt (Virginia) Brietzke of Clinton Township, and Herbert (Karen) Brietzke of Brighton; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, 1-8 p.m., and funeral service Monday, 1 p.m., will be at Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
